Overview
In maasai mara a popular sight to be observed between the months of July and October is the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle to and from the Serengeti. Leopards, lions and cheetahs can also be observed in the area. The untouched landscape is perfect for wildlife to flourish and human numbers given access to the area is limited. Itinerary
You will spend the entire day in Masai Mara Game Reserve with early morning and afternoon game drives. Explore one of the most famous and most beautiful national parks in Africa, with the chance to spot the Big Five, predators and an abundance of other wildlife. Residents among the parks mammal include Masai giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Gazelle, Antelope, buffalo among others. The park is a home to prolific birdlife. Optional hot air balloon ride are available at an additional cost. You also have an opportunity to visit an authentic Masai village. Dinner and overnight stay at Elangata Olerai Luxury Camp.

If you’re looking to see a spectacular array of wildlife when on your safari, the best game viewing months in Kenya are during the dry season from late June to October. The Maasai Mara is also Kenya’s most noted location for the wildebeest migration, due to the Mara River crossings. This usually happens in July.
